The 3rd Cyprus International Film Festival, called CIFF 2008, will be held in September 2008 and hosts the following competitive categories:

     1. Feature Films (120 minutes max. length)
     2. Short Films (up to 30 minutes)
     3. Films for children (120 minutes max. length)
     4. Animation Films  (120 minutes max. length)
     5. Short Films - 'Fair Play' (sports genre and/or olympic spirit)
         (120 minutes max. length)
     6. VIDEO ART Films (up to 30 minutes)
     7. Diaspora GreekCypriot cinematographers' Films - 'Nostimon Imar'
         (Greek/Cypriot cinematographers who live abroad)
         (120 minutes max. length)
     8. Humanitarian (120 minutes max. length)
     9. Comedy Films (120 minutes max. length)
   10. Dance Films and VIDEO DANCE (up to 60 minutes)

and includes also several film genre sections, ie:

• Cult-Midnight Movies
  
• Awarded Cypriot Film Directors
  
• Panorama (films out of competition)
  
• Homage Films about Genocity
